La Conga is by the stallion, Bolivar de Sol Reye out of Karma de Sol Reye. Conga is the classic example of the Paso Fino Performance mare. Her movements are elegant, quick, powerful, and refined. Her corto is a fino-type and her largo is fast and animated. In 2002 Conga won Reserve National Champion Performance Three year old fillies class. In 2003 she earned Fourth National Champion Four year old fillies and Third Grand National Champion Performance Four year old fillies class. In 2004 Conga was both the National Champion Performance Mare and Grand National Champion Performance Mare. After time off as a brood mare, we decided to show her again in 2007. She won numerous first place ribbons in regional shows and earned the 2007 Fifth National Champion A/O Performance Mare title. In 2008 she earned her Title of Proficiency, winning numerous regional shows. In 2009 she was awarded her Legion of Merit standing with the Paso Fino Horse Association. She has had three fillies, each being a beautiful chestnut color. Her first offspring, Brazil, has won numerous first places in both Performance and Pleasure classes; and in 2011 she was Fourth Grand National champion Pleasure Mare. She is now retired from the show ring and enjoys life on the farm.
